Jettime is looking for Cabin Crew to join our Helsinki base

Can you deliver excellent service? Do you thrive in an environment that offers a lot of variety and a working schedule that is never the same? If YES, you have come to the right place.

We are delighted to announce that Jettime is recruiting Cabin Crew to our base in Helsinki, Finland.

As Cabin Crew in Jettime, your primary responsibility is to ensure a safe journey for our passengers. In addition to this, you are entrusted to deliver an unforgettable customer service experience to our charter guests onboard. Our “can-do” attitude combined with our genuine cheerful atmosphere makes the onboard journey memorable.

Jettime functions as a supplier of aircrafts and crew to some of the largest holiday tour operators in the Nordics, such as TUI and Tjäreborg. Additionally, we cooperate with various Northern European airlines, e.g. SAS and Air Greenland.

The Cabin Crew job in Jettime is a 6-month full-time temporary employment, with a possibility for full-time permanent employment. You will be based at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL) and employed directly in Jettime Oy.

As Cabin Crew, your working hours follow a working schedule, which you will receive at least 14 days in advance. The job may cover all hours and days of the week, including nights and holiday days, which is why we must emphasise the importance of flexibility and adaptability. To clarify, it deviates in its entirety from a traditional 9-17 job and as Cabin Crew you can expect to frequently spend several consecutive nights away from your home base – either at one of our destinations, or at one of our Nordic bases. The great fellowship amongst colleagues in Jettime will provide many opportunities for social activities and for creating fun memories with colleagues – perhaps on a beach in Southern Europe!

To be a successful Jettime Cabin Crew member:

  • You are service-minded, flexible, and resilient.
  • You have a positive mindset towards the service industry, and you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are efficient, punctual and you easily adapt to changes.
  • You have a good situational awareness.
  • You possess excellent cooperation skills, whilst also being able to work independently.
  • You are highly attuned to your surroundings, with a clear focus on the well-being of your customers.

Experience from the job as Cabin Crew is an advantage, but not a must.

In addition to the above, you must be/have:

  • At least 20 years old
  • Fluent in Finnish and English, preferably with good skills in Swedish. Additional languages are of merit.
  • High school diploma or at least 2 years of work experience, preferably from the service or health care industry, e.g., travel guide, receptionist, shop assistant, nurse, social worker, or similar.
  • A good physical health combined with a stable mental health. These are prerequisites required to successfully manage the Cabin Crew training course and job.
  • Able to obtain an approved aeromedical examination, as well as a clear drug & alcohol test before starting the course.
  • A height between 160-195 cm.
  • A valid EU passport with a minimum of 6 months validity when the training course starts.
  • Able to swim a minimum of 200 meters unaided.
  • During standby duties, you must be able to reach your departure gate at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL) within 90 minutes.
  • The ability to get security clearance and have a clean criminal record. You must also be able to provide documentation proving your whereabouts and activities during the past 5 years, including past jobs, degrees, etc. No exceptions.
  • You are willing and able to follow Jettime uniform regulations and policies. Visible tattoos must be approved prior to employment.

How to become a Jettime Cabin Crew member:

We will facilitate your 4 weeks of training, which takes place at our training department, located at the Jettime HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark. If applying to the HEL base, Jettime will cover your accommodation during the course, as well as one set of return tickets to and from Copenhagen (scheduled for your arrival to Copenhagen on the first course day and scheduled back home on your last course day). In addition, we will provide lunch during your training.

During the Cabin Crew training course, you will be assessed through various tests and exams, all of which you must pass in order to graduate. The course will ensure you receive skills and qualifications in areas such as first aid, safety, theory of flight, communication and cooperation, as well as training in sales and service. A successful completion of the entire course, combined with an approved background check are requirements for employment in Jettime.

The course is free of charge. Upon successful completion of the training, you will receive a completion-bonus, which is the equivalent of a one-month base salary.

Salary & Conditions

In addition to your fixed base salary, you receive per diem allowances, as well as compensation for holiday, Sunday, and nighttime work. Additionally, Jettime offers a sales commission from your onboard sales. As an employee in Jettime Oy, you also benefit from our occupational health care package.
